LadyKin Vanpir Dark Repair Cream Review

Recently I  had a little haul from Yesstyle.ca, so for the next week or so I will be trying new products. The harsh winters here in my town has really dried out my skin and on top of that I ran out of my night moisturizer. Therefore I've been using my day time moisturizer for the night time as well. During the summer that would be sufficient but not when its -20 Celsius and the heat is blasting all day. So I decided to pick up the Lady Kin Vanpir Dark Repair Cream.

This is what the product claims to do

First of all before you decide to purchase this product, you need to be aware that there is coconut oil in it. I did not know that until after I ordered it. I probably should done a bit more research and looked at reviews more. Coconut oil can cause acne breakouts on some people, and since I do get breakouts once every month or so, I was very worried. However after testing it out for 3 days, I have not broken out! So just be cautious if you are interested in purchasing this product.

Another thing I want to note is that this cream is heavily scented. I typically don't mind some fragrance, but this smells strong in my opinion. Of course it is personal preference, but if you don't like fragrance, stay away.

The consistency of the cream is thick. You definitely don't need too much product to cover your face. I find that the cream does leave my face really smooth and soft after using it. Even when I wake up in the morning, I find that my face is still smooth even when my lips are chapped. My nose area was so dry and patchy from blowing my nose all day. After using this cream, my patches have disappeared! I don't have much to comment on the whitening effects the products claims to have, however it seems that my fresh acne scars has faded a bit? I will have to use this product a bit longer to find out.

In conclusion, this product is a thumbs up! However the scent is kind of off putting to me, but the product does soften my skin. This has been a life saver for me with the harsh winters and my heater going all day. I don't think I would use this product during the warmer seasons since I do have combination/oily skin and won't be needing a heavy moisturizer like this.
